QPR (Question, Persuade, and Refer) Suicide Prevention Training is a one or two-hour educational program designed to teach professional "gatekeepers" the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to respond. BYUH provides this training to anyone (faculty, staff, clubs, students, etc.).
Our department offers informational presentations on mental health, designed to raise awareness and foster a sense of unity and understanding among students. We’re happy to visit your class, club, hale, etc. to help promote mental health awareness.
Therapy Assistance Online (TAO) is an interactive, web-based program that provides well-researched and highly effective strategies to manage stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns. It is a free resource for BYU–Hawaii students and employees.
