Counseling Services

Counseling Services supports students’ personal growth and development in working towards emotional, behavioral, and social wellness. As such, preventative and therapeutic programs are offered to meet the needs of BYU–Hawaii’s diverse student population. Services are provided in an environment of respect, acceptance, compassion, and support for all members of our University 'ohana.

All scheduled mental health services will be provided via telemental health. Crisis intervention will continue to be provided face-to-face. Students who do not have access to video technology may call us to set up an in-office telemental health appointment. Due to licensing restrictions, students who have traveled home (out-of-state) will be referred to providers in their home area.

Our office will remain open during normal business hours for crisis and walk-ins.

After-hours support for crisis is available by calling (808) 675-3911.
