4:00 PM - 5:00 PM
McKay Classroom Building Room 180

Take an active role in mental health awareness by participating in our QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) Suicide Prevention Training. This crucial workshop is open to all students, staff, and faculty members who want to make a positive impact in their community.

In this training, you will learn how to recognize the warning signs of suicide, how to ask someone if they are thinking about harming themselves, and the steps to persuade them to seek help. QPR is an evidence-based approach that empowers individuals to become gatekeepers for their peers, providing the knowledge and skills necessary to support those in crisis.

By attending this training, you will not only gain important insights into mental health but also become part of a compassionate network dedicated to preventing suicide. Together, we can create a safer, more supportive environment for everyone. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn how to help others and promote mental well-being on campus.
